After the work of the Servant in Isaiah 53, God invites people to experience his shalom—the deep peace of wholeness where we are fundamentally ok. In Isaiah 54–55 we learn that peace is not to be found in what we can see, buy or make for ourselves. Rather, it is found in listening to him so that our souls are fed and satisfied.
